Position: Plant Manager

Location: Suddhodhan, Rupandehi, Nepal

Responsibilities:

• Manages to ensure compliance, fair and consistent administration of the Company policies, procedures and food act policies.
• Is responsible for supporting, managing, or implementing Food Safety and Product Quality standards.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at food processing floors to ensure optimal product quality and maximize profitability.
• Direct and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards, procedures, and efficient processes.
• Implement and enforce compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Conduct hands-on hiring, providing technical training based on food manufacturing industrial standards.
• Motivate and supervise employees to achieve daily production targets.
• Identify and address risks and potential problems before initiating projects.
• Set and enforce health & safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and processed food products, ensuring proper storage.
• Audit food production machines, overseeing maintenance, repair, and replacement as needed for operational efficiency.
• Direct and supervise food production staff, implementing standards, procedures, and processes for high-quality food products.
• Take responsibility for shop floor activities, monitoring all aspects of production for compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies for driving production regularly.
• Collect and analyze data to identify areas of waste or overtime.
• Address employee issues or grievances and administer negotiations.
• Stay updated with the latest production management best practices and concepts.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holder in BTech, food science, or a relevant field from a reputed institute.
• Experience in setting up and managing large plants with multiple processing lines.
• Experience in setting up a French fry plant is highly desirable.
