Forum for Women, Law and Development (FWLD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to combatting Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) through collaborative efforts with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Our “CSO’s Allied Action on SGBV” project aims to foster a network of CSOs at the national level including CSOs from provinces to effectively address SGBV and implement impactful initiatives. FWLD is seeking two provincial coordinators to coordinate with CSOs in provincial level to establish and strengthen the network for collaborative actions against Sexual and Gender based Violence (SGBV). The prospective provincial coordinator have to provide only 50% of their time performing the job responsibilities and should be already located in the provinces advertised.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with CSOs at the provincial level to establish and strengthen a network for collaborative action against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
  • Facilitate the implementation of project activities in the province, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Organize and conduct regular meetings, workshops, and training sessions with CSOs and stakeholders to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and address challenges.
  • Serve as a liaison between the provincial-level CSOs and the Program Manager, providing regular updates, reports, and insights on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  •  Support capacity-building efforts among CSOs to enhance their effectiveness in combating SGBV and implementing project activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of project interventions at the provincial level, collecting data and feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years in coordinating and working with Civil Society Organizations, preferably on issues related to Sexual Gender-Based Violence or social justice.
  • Strong understanding of the socio-political context and dynamics at the provincial level, particularly regarding SGBV and women’s rights issues.
  •  Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team and with external stakeholders.
  •  Proficiency in report writing and program management.
