Qualifications
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in the packaged drinking water/ beverage industry of 8-10 years
- Knowledge of the latest local safety and labor laws and regulations would be an added advantage
- Detailed knowledge of quality control standards and plant and manufacturing operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to lead a large team
Job Responsibilities
Plant Installation:
- Lead the installation process of the new plant, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are set up according to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective plant setup.
Staff Hiring:
- Recruit, train, and supervise key personnel, including Line Managers and Quality Control staff.
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing team by fostering a positive work environment.
Plant Maintenance:
- Oversee and manage routine maintenance activities to ensure the plant operates at peak efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment malfunctions promptly.
Quality Control:
- Establish and implement quality control processes to maintain the highest product standards.
- Work closely with Quality Control teams to monitor and enhance product quality.
Factory Management:
- Assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the factory.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align plant operations with organizational goals.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
Site Placement and Planning:
- Provide insights and recommendations on the optimal placement of equipment and facilities within the plant.
- Contribute to the planning and layout of the plant for maximum productivity.
Packaging and Labeling:
- Collaborate with packaging and labeling teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company branding standards.
- Oversee the packaging process to guarantee products are presented appealingly and securely.
Product Supervision:
- Supervise production processes to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Implement measures to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
