Position: Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
Location: Sudhhodhan, Rupandehi Nepal
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for comprehensive financial management, including corporate accounting, business planning, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control and fiscal policies and procedures.
- Manage the finance function, covering cost optimization, revenue assurance, general accounting, financial planning and analysis, banking, direct & indirect taxation, and MIS. Ensure financial compliance by overseeing statutory regulations and managing tax assessments, encompassing TDS/VAT/IT/Advance IT/Excise
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Provide leadership in continuously evaluating short and long-term strategic financial objectives, driving the company’s financial planning.
- Ensure the credibility of the Finance group by delivering timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts. Prepare Monthly Management Information System reports with justified provisions for effective decision-making.
- Optimize liquidity, cash flow, and capital to enhance financial performance.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and statutory requirements. Strategically optimize bank interest costs through loan file refinancing.
- Efficiently close audits, addressing meeting points and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and proactively update internal policies.
- Optimize purchase activities through analyses that enhance procurement efficiency and evaluate the cost-effectiveness of raw materials.
Job requirements:
- Candidates with either Chartered Accountant certification or a master’s degree in finance and accounting are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with CA certification before 2015 A.D will be given priority.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and management.
- Special consideration for candidates with FMCG and manufacturing industries experience.
