Creative Institute Nepal (CIN) is a local non-profit making feminist organization established in January 8, 1998 at Rupandehi district. Municipality Solid Waste Management Project in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality (MSWMP), Nepal, is to be implementedfor 3 months, funded by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). CIN here by invites applicants from qualified Nepalese citizens before 9th Oct for mentioned position on Contract basis for 3 months.
Position Title: Project Coordinator
Position number: 1
Sex: Women
Work Place: Lumbini Sansritik Municipality
Period: 3 Month
Salary and benefits: As per the organization’s policy
Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, managing and implementing the Solid waste management Project.
- Overseeing the delivery of MSWMP Project and Monitoring and evaluation of the project.
- Develop monthly and quarterly work plans, budget forecasts.
Qualification and skills
- With prior experience with managerial and functional skill in relevant sector, Masters with 1 years’ experience or Bachelor with 2 years, in Environmental Science, Climate science/studies or other Applied Science, experience in project management including project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and narrative and financial reporting., Prior experience of working with USAID/UN/EU funded project and project related to Solid Waste management will be a plus point.
2. Position Title: Vermicomposting Expert
Position number: 1
Sex: Marginalized Women or Man
Work Place: Lumbini Sansritik Municipality
Period: 3 Month
Salary and benefits: As per the organization’s policy
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our vermicomposting operations, including monitoring worm populations, maintaining optimal environmental conditions, and ensuring the quality of the final compost product as per project target.
- Provide training and educational resources to employees and community members on the benefits and techniques of vermicomposting.
Qualification and skills
- Bachelor’s with 2 years or master’s degree with 1 years in environmental science, agriculture, or a related field., Proven experience in vermicomposting operations and management.
- Strong knowledge of composting principles, including the role of worms in the process.
- Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
3. Position Title: Admin and Finance
Position number: 1
Sex: Women
Work Place: Lumbini Sansritik Municipality
Period: 3 Month
Salary and benefits: As per the organization’s policy
Major Responsibilities:
- Financial Management of the Project/ Program, Book keeping , Budgeting and Reporting, Financial Monitoring, Admin and Supply Chain Management, Compliance and others
Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent, Master’s degree in finance/ Accounting or Equivalent, preferred, Minimum 3 years of experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning, and analysis in NGO. Demonstrated experience in the use of MS office Package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.) & Internet, Experience of working in a computerized accounting environment like Tally software, IPAS, FAMAS.
4. Position Title: Social Mobilizer
Position number: 1
Sex: Marginalized Women or Man
Work Place: Lumbini Sansritik Municipality
Period: 3 Month
Salary and benefits: As per the organization’s policy
Major Responsibilities:
- Support the project team to identify technical opportunities and challenges related to SWM, in coordination with the project.
- Compile data provided at the community level as per project requirements.
- Formation and mobilization of group/community in line with project goal
Qualification and skills
- Intermediate (10+2) in a relevant field, required, Minimum One (1) years of NGO work experience, required, Demonstrated experience in data collection, program facilitation.
- Experience working with partners and participating in community-engagement activities, required.
