Construction Engineer – Power and Infra
Location: Sanepa, Lalitpur
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or a related filed, along with over 10 years of construction-related experience. Professional certification as a construction engineer is often preferred. Key skills include project management, technical expertise, safety compliance, budget management, and effective communication to oversee the construction and maintenance of hydropower facilities successfully
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities for planning and overseeing the construction of power and Infra and Construction projects.
- Regularly reviewing timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track and responsible for consider factors like the local terrain and environmental impact when designing and constructing Hydropower Plants/Power and Infra Projects/Construction Projects
- Responsible for manage construction crews, contractors and subcontractors to ensure that the project progresses according to the design plans and is completed on time and within budget.
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits, licenses and mitigating the impact of any issues
- Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
