Chief Financial Officer
Qualifications/Skills
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Chartered Accountant with minimum of 8 years of
experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a foundation or non-profit
organization. Strong understanding of non-profit financial management, including fund accounting
and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the foundation’s goals and mission.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to contribute to the overall strategic planning process.
- Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate and manage risks effectively.
- Oversee financial aspects of donor contributions and grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
- Work closely with investment advisors to manage the foundation’s investment portfolio.
- Monitor investment performance and recommend adjustments as necessary.
