The Nepal Urban Resilience Programme (Sudridh-NURP) is an FCDO-Funded programme providing support to the Government of Nepal and selected Municipal Governments to build urban economic resilience and support green, resilient, and inclusive development. Sudridh-NURP seeks suitably qualified and experienced individuals staff required for a full time position as Admin and Finance Officer.
Minimum Requirements:
Intermediate (+3) in any related fields with Preference for candidates with bachelor’s/ master’s degree. Working experience of a minimum of 3 years related to Administration and Finance with INGOs or companies working in international development sector in Nepal. Good standards of written and spoken English Excellent knowledge of Excel and accounting software usage.
Major Responsibilities:
Support the Administration and Accounts Manager in managing and maintaining the Office Accounting System and Project accounts, expenses register book-keeping along with associated back up system and carry out banking activities Ensure general office management and administration. Responsible for overall admin, logistics, procurement, and petty cash transactions. Receive, maintain and submit for approval project staff monthly timesheets, leave records etc. and manage travel, transport and accommodation bookings and records including maintenance of vehicle logbooks. Supervise, maintain and physically verify an inventory of assets, goods, materials and equipment of ICF Consulting Services Limited Nepal and Sudridh-NURP. Ensure accuracy, quality & documentation of financial, admin & audit aspects at municipal and central level. Maintain accurate Value For Money data and support with financial reporting internally and to client. Provide logistics support for national and local-level workshops, meetings and training based on approved project norms. Any other duties as instructed by the Administration and Accounts Manager.
