Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Documentation: Prepare detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test suites, to outline comprehensive testing strategies.
• Defect Analysis: Analyze software defects and report them with precision and clarity, ensuring accurate and timely defect tracking.
• Testing Methodologies: Conduct various types of testing, including GUI, Smoke, functional, regression, and browser compatibility testing.
• SDLC Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall models of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Performance Testing: Perform load and stress testing using tools such as JMeter and other relevant resources.
• API Testing: Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and reliability of software APIs.
• Automation Scripting: Prepare, maintain, and execute automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Security and Vulnerability Assessment: Perform security and vulnerability assessments of both mobile and web applications, utilizing tools like Burp Suite, ZAP, and knowledge of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Database Proficiency: Have a good understanding of Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) fundamentals and the ability to write SQL queries for testing purposes.
• API Automation: Knowledge of automating APIs for testing purposes.
• Documentation Maintenance: Maintain test documentation, including bug reports, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) reports, and Release reports, as required by the project.
• Process Optimization: Continuously optimize and improve the software testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Automation Using Cypress: Possess strong knowledge of automation using Cypress to ensure efficient and effective test automation.
• Programming Skills: Have a good understanding of at least one programming language to support test automation.
• CI/CD Integration: Knowledge and ability to integrate automated scripts into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.
• Specification Analysis: Analyze product and process specifications and procedures to ensure the software meets the defined criteria.

• Basic knowledge in SQL.
• Implementation of the bug tracking tools.
• Programming skills for automation testing.
• Understanding and analytics in business intelligence.
