JOB OPPORTUNITY

Right4Children is looking for dynamic, competent, committed, and experienced individuals for the following positions to be a part of School Improvement for Quality Assurance and Enhancement in Education (SIQAEE) project which is going to be implemented in Hupsekot and Baudikali Rural Municipalities of Nawalpur district of Gandaki Province. The positions are based in Nawalpur district.

1. Project Manager

No. of Vacancy: 1

Qualification and Experience Required

  • Thorough knowledge of the Nepalese education system and well familiar with the concepts of child rights and child friendly school.
  • Proven project management experience, at least 3 years’ experience in the field of Education.
  • Excellent skills in partnership building and relationship management, training and facilitation, communication and negotiation. teamwork and motivation.
  • Very good command over English and Nepali languages, both in writing and speaking
  • Strong learning attitude, open minded, energetic and flexible in time.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Master desired (preferably in Education)

The successful candidate is required to be able to
Design project implementation strategies along with detailed action plans, budget and work schedule; Conduct regular meetings with local govt. to get required support; Visit schools, collect necessary information and assess the needs of the schools; Work with respective schools and local govt. units to prioritize the needs and develop appropriate action for long term intervention to create and promote child friendly environment; Equip and orient the schools to improve the quality of education; Train and facilitate SMC, PTA, Child Clubs, Teachers and other stakeholders on quality improvement, responsibility and accountability; Ensure that minimum standards are met in the schools; Build strong coordination and relationship with relevant stakeholders and agencies; Supervise the project team, monitor the progress and prepare monthly and periodic reports


2. Field Officer

No. of Vacancy: 2

Qualification and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 2-year experience in the areas related to Education, community mobilization, Training & Facilitation.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with a good learning attitude .
  • Excellent communication and networking skills; fluency in English and Nepali, both in written and verbal
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote working areas.
  • Driving skills with a valid driving license (two-wheeler)
  • Bachelors (preferably in Education or Social Science).

The successful candidate is required to be able to
Work in a team with other project staff to manage and coordinate project activities; Working closely with the Project Manager and coordinating with other team members, take a lead role in planning, managing and implement project activities at field level; Build and maintain strong networks and coordination with different project stakeholders and work closely with them to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the project; Collect project related information and maintain the records and reports of the project activities.


3. School Facilitator

No. of Vacancy: 1

Qualification and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience in the areas related to Education, Child Rights, and Training & Facilitation
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills (both in Nepali and English)
  • Good learning attitude, open minded, energetic and flexible
  • IA/+2 (intermediate) level, Bachelors desired (preferably in Education or Social Science)

The successful candidate is required to be able to

Work in a team with other project staff to manage and coordinate project activities; Work as the focal person for schools, child clubs, teachers and communities in the implementation of the project; Assist in conducting trainings and other capacity building activities for schools, teachers and child clubs; Build and maintain strong networks and coordination with schools, communities, and other stakeholders for the successful implementation of the project; Collect and maintain relevant information and records of the project and provide them to concerned personnels on regular basis.


4. Project Assistant

No. of Vacancy: 1

Qualification and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the areas related to project administration, office management, procurement, logistic support and providing need-based support to the project team, experience in the field of education and or child rights would be an advantage.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills (both in Nepali and English)
  • Good learning attitude, open minded, energetic and flexible
  • At least IA/+2 (intermediate) (preferably in Humanities and Social Sciences, or Management or Education)

The successful candidate is required to be able to

Provide all necessary support including administrative, logistic, technical etc. to the project team to ensure effective, efficient and timely implementation of the project activities; Assist the project team in keeping and maintaining important project related information, records and feeding them whenever needed; Manage and maintain field office; Communicate and update the project team and other personnels about any key information/messages. Develop and keep strong working relationships with partners and relevant stakeholders.

Salary for all the positions will be based on a proven track record of experience, achievements and qualifications.
