Our client is currently on the lookout for a talented and driven Network Engineer to become an essential part of their dynamic team. As a Network Engineer on our dynamic team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure. Responsibilities include administering network equipment and providing design and implementation services.

Responsibilities:
- Administer all network equipment, conduct hardware and software upgrades.
- Act as the technical point of contact for our valued customers.
- Analyze local and wide area network systems, including testing.
- Provide design, migration, implementation, and deployment services/guidance.
- Perform network system backups following documented methods and procedures.
- Conduct network/site surveys and prepare test reports as needed.
- Maintain firewalls to ensure proper security controls are in place.
- Obtain quotes, procure hardware, and ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Provide support for new applications and upgrades to existing systems.
- Install, configure, and support equipment from various vendors.
- Communicate with clients and vendors involved in provisioning activities.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
- Automate network monitoring to proactively address network issues.
- Plan network layouts and configure systems to suit user environments.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, and network security concepts.
- Proven experience with firewalls, including FortiGate, Checkpoint.
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory administration.
- Minimum of one Cisco certification (CCNA) or an equivalent international certification.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
