Job Summary:
In this internship, you’ll dive into the exciting world of WordPress development, contributing to the creation and enhancement of engaging websites. You’ll be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, including custom theme development, plugin customization, and troubleshooting. Collaborating with our design team, you’ll ensure websites are visually appealing and user-friendly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of WordPress websites, including custom theme development, plugin customization, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure websites are visually appealing and user-friendly.
- Help maintain website functionality by performing regular updates and maintenance.
- Assist with website migrations and testing.
- Debugging and resolving website issues in a timely manner.
- Communicating project progress with the team and ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Basic understanding of web servers, FTP, and version control tools.
- Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
