JOB OPPORTUNITY

Sabal Nepal, a non-profitable social development organization of Nepal. Currently, Sabal Nepal is implementing the Save the Children supported project titled “SAMUNNATI Project” in Madhesh Province, we invite applications from interested and qualified Nepali citizens for the following position. This project is running from the date of Nov 2014. This position is located in the Saptari District.

Project Officer

Number of Vacancies: 1

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree in social science, business management or agriculture having at least 3 years of diversified experiences in project planning, implementation, supervision and community mobilization along with computer skills and fluent in speaking & report writing in English, Nepali and local languages. The advantages will be given from statistics background.

Assignment: 70% field based work including implementation, management, community mobilization and quality control and 30% Office based work including reporting and district based networking and coordination (may modify as upon program requirement).

Safeguarding: We respect and follow the safeguarding policy every time. The post holder will have contact with children and/or young peoples, vulnerable communities, and stakeholders either frequently or intensively in the program area because they work for country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing policy and the police checking/vetting process staff.
