Job Description

  • Ensure market/price competitiveness and availability of all relevant market/category-based information that helps the company to drive effective business plans and strategies
  • Initiating new market/category intelligence projects, aligned with organizational goals and ensuring their successful implementation
  • Responsible to ensure price competitiveness for assortment by liaising and working closely with Category/Vendor Management teams
  • Keeping track of category seasonality, new moves/promotions/launches offered by competition to ensure effective alignment of company’s business strategies and calendar
  • Solution provision to other departments in terms of price competitiveness analysis, assortment gap analysis and other insights
  • Cross departmental coordination to ensure effective usage of gathered information through market research
  • Liaising with Daraz regional teams to develop new, efficient and effective reporting and analytical mechanisms
  • Driving analytics based on the gathered data, generating relevant reports/dashboards on a Weekly/Monthly basis so that Commercial Team can drive their sales and campaign strategies


  • Masters Degree from any reputed institute (Management / Engineering)
  • Minimum 2 Years of experience in sales, monitoring and evaluations
  • Hands on experience in managing teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
