Project Coordinator
Open Knowledge Nepal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects related to open knowledge and data. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for open knowledge and its potential for social impact.

Open Knowledge Nepal is a non-profit civic tech organization comprised of openness enthusiasts. We believe that open data is powerful for fostering a participatory government with civil society, ultimately leading to sustainable development. The organization is actively involved in research, advocacy, training, workshops, and the development of tools related to open knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer engineering, data sciences, or project management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing data-related projects is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of data and visualization tools.
- Experience working with non-profit organizations or in the development sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Nepali languages.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the tech team to implement the Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) project.
- Coordinate with Local Government (LG) Data Fellows to create use cases, data stories, data visualizations, etc., for local governments.
- Coordinate with partner organizations and collaborate on joint projects.
- Support the development of funding proposals and project budgets.
Location
Remote with flexible working hours.
Wages
Negotiable, in the range of NPR 30,000 to NPR 35,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
