FHI 360 has been working in Nepal since 1993 in the areas of HIV/AIDS, family planning/reproductive health, nutrition, antimicrobial resistance, environment, capacity building, civil society and media strengthening, and governance reform. FHI 360’s work is grounded in evidence and aligns with and provides support to the Government of Nepal’s development priorities and plans. Procurement Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance on procurement section of Management Division (MD), Department of Health Services (DoHS) for smooth operation of electronic bidding system (e-GP I & e-GP II).
- Technical assistance in evaluation of received bids and proposals with the procurement team.
- Support to prepare recommendations for the award of the contract.
- Participate in various meetings as suggested by the MD Director and EpiC Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSM) Team Lead.
- Carry out other procurement and supply chain-related tasks as suggested by the MD Director or Technical Monitor.
- Closely work with the EpiC PSM Team Nepal and update regularly.
Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Public Health/Pharmacy or equivalent with 1–2 years of experience or bachelor’s degree in above-mentioned subject with 3–5 years of experience in the relevant field
- Experience in procurement and contract management of healthcare commodities and medical products.
