Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance on procurement section of Management Division (MD), Department of Health Services (DoHS) for smooth operation of electronic bidding system (e-GP I & e-GP II).
  • Technical assistance in evaluation of received bids and proposals with the procurement team.
  • Support to prepare recommendations for the award of the contract.
  • Participate in various meetings as suggested by the MD Director and EpiC Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSM) Team Lead.
  • Carry out other procurement and supply chain-related tasks as suggested by the MD Director or Technical Monitor.
  • Closely work with the EpiC PSM Team Nepal and update regularly.

Qualification

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health/Pharmacy or equivalent with 1–2 years of experience or bachelor’s degree in above-mentioned subject with 3–5 years of experience in the relevant field
  • Experience in procurement and contract management of healthcare commodities and medical products.
