Pharmacist
Job Responsibility:
- Greet customers and answer to queries made by customers.
- Provide medications and drugs as prescribed by the doctors.
- Manage and keep the medicine stocks.
- Proper accounting of the pharmacy billings.
- Provide information to patients about the medications and their method of intake and use.
- Maintain records for controlled substances and remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
- Maintain healthy relations and coordination with colleagues.
- Maintain good communication and a level of respect with the patients.
- Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
- Listen carefully to customer to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
- Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication.

- Counsel patients on dosage, possible side effects and risks associated with each medicine
- Use HMIS computer systems to generate bill, indent medicine, stock inquiry and for other requirements.
- Strictly follow all the policies and procedures of the organization.
- Any other job as assigned by the reporting manager.
Person Specification:
- Bachelor’s of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state pharmacist license.
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and medication management.
- Familiarity with pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
