Basic Information

Position: Officer
Business Unit/Division: Nimbus Bazar Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Kathmandu

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Supervise the inventory team and ensure that all inventory-related activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends and customer demand.
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure that inventory is stored and managed in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
  • Prepare delivery mechanisms for clients/ stores every time, on schedule, with the proper techniques, delivery timetables, pack orders, and route them.
  • Sustain a high level of customer satisfaction through superior dispatching.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing and merchandising teams to optimize product availability and minimize stock-outs and overstock.
  • Analyze inventory reports and identify trends or issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Train and coach inventory team members on inventory management procedures and best practices
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems, such as cycle counting
  • Do inventory audits to assess inventory requirements and levels in all stores.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management regulations, such as safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Communicate inventory-related information and metrics to senior management as needed.
  • Manage returns to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate schemes as per vendor requests.
