Monitoring and Evaluation Associate

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Associate has a very crucial responsibility at NAP+N to manage project. S/he is responsible to overall data and records keeping, data feeding, data collection, data security & data computing in project supported by EpiC Nepal/FHI360. S/he will also support National Coordinator, M&E officer, Finance/Admin. Officer for program reporting, data dispensing and implementation of activities using program data/information. The position also contributes to tracking of the existing program & activities, development & implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

Key Areas of Accountability

Under the general guidance and supervision of National Coordinator, M&E officer & Finance/Admin. officer the incumbent will provide the following services:

  1. Coordinate with CBOs, districts and provincial offices to document implemented activities,
  2. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual & progress reports as per the timelines,
  3. Prepare CBO’s wise target and share a plan to implement and track the progress,
  4. Monitoring and supervise program activities to ensure that they are implemented as per plan and with highest standard,
  5. Being in close coordination with National coordinator, Finance/Admin. Officer, M&E officer, Advocacy officer & CBOs’ & projects’ staff,
  6. Supervise and support district level implementing partners for program implementation,
  7. Field supervision for monitoring and assessment of NGOs and provide/assist technical support for their quality performance,
  8. Monitor and Support CBOs for their quality performance and support them in linking with other required services,
  9. Collect & Analyze program data, monthly track the achievements against target and share with NC, M&E officer and FHI360.
  10. Motivate and guide CBO’s and CBS to collect quality data using standard form/format/templates,
  11. Verify all the records and reports before updating in the standard formats like; data-base, HMIS, ONHIS & other online/offline reporting,
  12. Prepare presentations on the progress Program/achievements required for different meeting and forums.
  13. Support to collect information in preparing project plan, identifying issues related to PLHIV rights, access to quality treatment for PLHIV and link with other services,
  14. Support in planning, designing, M&E plans, designing formats, checklists and project/program implementation,
  15. Collect Periodically narrative, progress report line partner organization, compile the report and submit to the concerned stakeholders
  16. Conduct or participate in supporting monitoring/supervision visits to program districts, interact with service providers and beneficiaries (as required), and document progress against the set targets, share and ensure follow-up actions for improved program results,
  17. Maintain data security, confidentiality and sharing protocols.
  18. Provide technical/facilitation support to organization to implement the event/activities in the districts as per the organizational norms and policies and program implementation guidelines.
  19. Perform any other duties as required or requested by line manager.

Qualification and experience

  • Intermediate level in any discipline with 4 year working experience.
  • Should be strong and must have team player skills,
  • Good writing, analytical and documentation skills.
  • Command in report preparation, event note and recording keeping.
  • Proficiency on computer usage on office packages, email and internet.
  • Results and detail-orientation and the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a multicultural and diverse environment,
  • Ability to work with target groups they are people living with HIV and AIDS, Good interpersonal communication skills and calm even under pressure. Command in report preparation, event note and record keeping, Proficiency on computer usage on office Packages, Email and internet.
