International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a non-governmental organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

For the following positions, INF Nepal, Central Office and Green Pastures Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, Pokhara is seeking competent, skilled, service-oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who share our vision, missions, and values.

HRD Manager

Number of Vacancies: 1
Location: Central Office, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder has to plan and perform, especially for matters relating to employment issues among staff in INF Nepal, in order to enable the organization to maintain and enhance its position as a good employer and an effective and efficient NGO. He or she should encourage, promote, and make sure of the standardization of implementation of the Employment Policy. In order to achieve this, the HRD relates to the Senior Management Team (SMT).

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Master’s degree in management with a minimum of five years’ experience in people management preferably in an I/NGO and healthcare setting. A master’s degree in management specializing in Human Resource Management is an advantage.
  • Must have a strong understanding of HR best practices, HR information systems, labor laws, and regulations, and compliances.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, and ability to engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have the analytical ability to make informed decisions and the ability to drive HR processes in line with the organizational strategic plan and direction.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Nepali including translation.
  • Good facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to remote project areas of INF Nepal.
  •  Good understanding of, and agreement with, the values that are important to INF Nepal serving motive with honesty and equality

Finance Officer

Number of Vacancies: 1
Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder is responsible for carrying out all day to day activities of the finance unit at GPH to ensure it remains effective in meeting the organizational needs for financial management and reporting in accordance with the agreed annual plan. In addition, the job holder need to assist finance manager/coordinator and other Managers and In-charges of GPH by providing financial information and reports.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in management majoring in finance or accountancy with minimum of three years of work experience in accounting and financial management in a similar role. Experience in I/NGO leadership and managing finances is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the use of computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets, Advance skills on accounting software and Excel are an advantage.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet the deadline.
  • Ability to work well with people, including expatriates.
  • Maintain high level of honesty in all matters.
  • Ability to prioritize and work to a deadline.
  •  Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Nepal values in work and dealing with others.
