Gandaki College of Engineering and Science (GCES), a prominent not-for-profit institution, is managed by the Gandaki Public Education Trust under the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology in Nepal. Since its establishment in 1998, the college has consistently delivered high-quality engineering education, particularly in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). GCES is now inviting applications for the following permanent positions
Lecturer (Level 8) -Software Engineering

Minimum Academic Qualification: A minimum of Masters’ degree in Computer Engineering / Information System Engineering or equivalent with Bachelors of Engineering in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent degree
1. Application Form Fee:
- The application form fee of Rs 2000.00 (Two thousand only) can be paid to Account No. 1320082930200012 at Machhapuchhre Bank in the name of Gandaki College of Engineering and Science.
2. Application Forms:
- Application forms are available either from the college office or can be downloaded from the college website: www.gces.edu.np. One applicant can apply for one position only.
- Along with the application form, candidates need to submit their curriculum vitae, academic certificates and other necessary documents.
- The submission should be made to the college office along with a cash deposit voucher within 15 days from the first publication date of this notice.
3. Selection Process:
- The selection process consists of a written exam and an interview.
- The curriculum for the written exam and the evaluation procedure will follow the guidelines of the Pokhara University Service Commission’s Procedure for Teachers 2057 (amended 2079).
4. Special Advantage:
- Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in a related area will have a special advantage during the selection process.
