Fiber Technician

Location: Kathmandu
- Install and splice fiber optic cables, connectors, and related equipment
- Ensure proper routing of cables and secure them in designated locations
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with fiber optic networks
- Replace or repair damaged cables, connectors, and equipment
- Splice and terminate optical fibers to connect them to various network components
- Conduct fusion splicing and mechanical splicing as required
- Use specialised tools and equipment to test and verify the performance of optical networks
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Work closely with other technicians and teams to coordinate installations and repairs
- Ensure that all tools are in good working condition
Job Specification
- Must have SLC or above
- 2-3 years of experience in the FTTH field
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Must have two-wheeler and a driving license
