Positon: Business Development Officer

DREAMVISION is looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Officer where your primary responsibility will be increasing the sales of our service through leads, partners and direct clients.

With the help of telephone canvassing, email and letter, and individually targeted activities with networking and marketing, you shall ensure that personal productivity achieves the revenue targets.

What will your role involve?

As a Business and Client Development Officer, you will be reporting to the Managing Director of a media production company. This position favors a candidate who has been involved in New  Business Development and ongoing Account Management of current clients. The Business Development Officer will have a good mix of business sense and the ability to express themselves creatively so that they can communicate across various stakeholders and personnel involved in a project. The right candidate will also need to drive the pipeline and revenue growth from existing customers and generate new revenue from incoming inquiries as well as develop new business initiatives for the business.

The chosen candidate will manage all aspects of client relationships including weekly reports and track pipelines along with regular updates to the Managing Director. Databases must be maintained using online Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing campaigns must be managed and implemented, whilst coordinating and forecasting business analysis to support new ideas. It would be advantageous for the ideal candidate to be able to write new business proposals adhering to all existing processes such as client agreements, ongoing contracts, account and opportunity planning in accordance with company policy.

What do we prefer?

– The candidate must be based in Kathmandu

– Freshers can apply but we prefer at least 1 year of experience in sales and customer service

– Education: +2 Diploma (preferred: On-going/Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business, Financial, Marketing, etc. fields)

– Excellent communication skills (written & oral)

– Possession of a two-wheeler license

– Detail oriented workflow

– Must have a good sense of humor

– Developing strong relationships with our clients

– Communicating and meeting with potential clients to negotiate business deals

– Collaborating with company executives to work out the most viable, cost effective approach to pursue new business opportunities

– Conducting market research to identify new business options and clients

– Analyzing customer feedback data to regulate customer satisfaction with our services
