AMO Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall function of AMP of Himalaya Airlines
  • Supervise maintenance aviation of A320 fleet
  • Co-ordinate with certified engine releasing A320 fleet
  • Ensure Maintenance Operations are conducted in accordance with the conditions and restrictions of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC)
  • Ensure that the maintenance facilities are adequate & in compliance with the requirements of NCAR-145 on which the Maintenance Approval is granted
  • Arrange for contracting out maintenance to third parties As well as providing contracted maintenance service to other operators within the scope of approval granted by CAAN.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 12 Years of aviation experience of which at least 5 years should be Line Maintenance
  • Holder of CAA Nepal License or equivalent with rating on relevant sample of the type(s) of aircraft or components maintained by the organization with the certifying experience Of 8 years.

Chinese English Interpreter

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for translating reports from English to Chinese & Chinese to English
  • Able to draft business letters, reports (etc.) in Chinese as well as English under the President’s supervision
  • Check translations of technical terms & terminologies to ensure that they are accurate & remain consistent throughout translation revisions
  • Compile terminology & information to be used in translations, including technical terms such as those for legal or official material
  • Proofread, edit, & revise translated materials
  • Record Management of important documents
  • Discuss translation requirements with the President
  • Perform related duties as required

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum master’s degree holder in Translation and Interpreting from a recognized University with a bachelor’s degree in English
  • Excellent command of written & spoken Chinese as well as English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office computer package
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in International Business Environment.
