Plan International has 85 years’ experience doing this in more than 70 countries. Plan International has been working in Nepal since 1978. Plan International seeks the following positions for an anticipated USAID-funded Education program in Nepal. These positions are contingent upon donor funding and approval.

1. Chief of Party:

Responsibility: Oversee all aspects of the project including leading strategic planning and decision making. providing technical guidance, overseeing activities of the sub-recipients, and supervising staff and serving as the key liaison with USAID. Ministries. implementing partners and other stakeholder.

Requirement: Master’s degree in International Development. Education. Social Sciences, or related field Minimum ten (10) years of work experience in related field with experience of leading USAID funded projects Proven leadership qualities. excellent program and personnel management skills. Excellent verbal and written skills in English


2. Deputy Chief of Party:

Responsibility: Support the Chief of Party in the management of the project, oversee coordination of field operations, provide support in the management of sub-grantees, and ensure that activities meeting USAID and Plan standards.

Requirement: Master’s degree preferred in Education, International Development or another relevant field. Minimum eight (8) years of experience in education or related technical areas with senior management or leadership position experience Excellent verbal and written skills in English3


3. Senior Finance and Operations Manager:

Responsibility: Oversee project finances and administrative operations in accordance with relevant USAID regulations and in line with Plan’s financial and administrative management policy provisions.

Requirement: Master’s degree in finance or financial management with professional qualification in accountancy preferred. Minimum seven (7) years of extensive experience in financial and operations management including experience managing finances for USAID-funded projects. Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
