Central Utility Engineer – Manager
Qualifications/Skills
A bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field with minimum of 10 years of proven experience. Preferably in a Brewery/Beverages or manufacturing Industries.
Responsibilities
- Plan and Undertake preventive maintenance of Captive Power Plant (CPP), diesel generation and power systems.
- Monitor utility systems to ensure efficient operation, troubleshoot equipment mal functions and implement corrective actions as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for central utility equipment to ensure reliability, longevity, and compliance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Conduct routine inspections and equipment checks, identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively to prevent unplanned outages.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and company policies related to utility operations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization.
