Mechanical Engineer Manager
Qualifications/Skills
B. E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or any other field. Background with 10 years + as a Mechanical Head of proven experience. Proficiency in Prior experience in a Cement or Rotary Plant will be preferable.
Responsibilities
- Develop maintenance schedules and plans for all mechanical equipment used in cement production, including crushers, kilns, mills, conveyors, and packing machines.
- Minimize equipment downtime and maximize reliability.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate repairs promptly in the event of equipment failures.
- Manage utilities such as boilers, compressors, and electrical systems to ensure an uninterrupted supply of power, air, and other essential services required for Clinker production.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all mechanical maintenance activities.
- Supervise and provide leadership to a team of mechanical technicians and maintenance personnel.
- Delegate tasks, provide training, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
