Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer
Location: Nawalparasi, Nepal
Qualifications/Skills
A bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience along with ability to think strategically and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for estimating and managing construction costs, including materials, labor and overhead to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Responsible for preparing accurate and detailed invoices for construction projects, incorporating quantities, rates, and other financial data, while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
- Works closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to analyze project plans, assess material requirements, and provide cost-effective solutions to optimize project budgets.
- Collaborates with project managers to track and document project expenses, maintains comprehensive records, and communicates effectively with stakeholders to address any billing discrepancies.
- Play a crucial role in cost control, risk management, and value engineering throughout the construction process, contributing to the successful completion of projects within financial parameters.
