Designation: District Project Officer
Location: Nawalpur
Reports to: Provincial Manager
Parallel reports to: Senior Program Manager
Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Agriculture Science with at least 4 years of working experience in community mobilization
- Experience in the Value chain will be given preference
- A Valid Driving license (2-wheeler)
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
- Proven experience in designing and implementing development programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali
- Experience in project planning and implementation at the district level in governmental and non-governmental organizations
- Local residents of Nawalpur district will be prioritized.
- Highly motivated, flexible, capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication, documentation, and dissemination skills
- Excellent skills in operating computer programs with various software
- Very good planning, coordination, monitoring and organizational skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results oriented.

Expression of Interest (EOI)
Caritas Nepal is implementing the Nepal Livelihoods & Resilience Program in Nepal funded by Caritas Australia and Australian Aid. The project is being implemented in 18 districts through 6 Province and Head office of Caritas Nepal. The specific objectives of the project are to diversify their income and livelihood portfolios, to enhance the capacities of community partners, to promote peaceful, inclusive and supportive community that protects vulnerable groups with assistance from cooperatives, networks, local government, NGOs and other stakeholders, and assist community partners to have identified and using the local resources for sustainable rural development.
Caritas Nepal hereby invites qualified audit firms to submit their EOI for the delivery of the following assignments:
Reference Code: NLRP
Assignment: To provide Financial Assurance and Audit Services based on Agreed Upon Procedures with Caritas Australia by reviewing the financial transactions undertaken by Caritas Nepal and Partners, for all operational and program related activities, and a review of the underlying systems, key policies and processes of Caritas Nepal.
