An established Rupandehi based NGO, dedicated to empowering marginalized children, adolescents and women for more than two decades, is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions in Butwal.

Position: Project Coordinator

(Community-Based Child Protection Project)
No: 1
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Development Studies, Law or other relevant subjects with a minimum of 5 years work experience in community development and mobilization as well as project management.

Role Summary

  • Overall project management including planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Coordination and networking with local government authorities, child protection networks, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Mentor, supervise and support to project staff in implementation of project activities and contribute to the monitoring & evaluation processes.
  • Design and facilitate child protection trainings for various stakeholders and volunteers at the municipal/province level.

Position: Child Protection Officer

(Community-Based Child Protection Project)
No.: 1
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Human Rights or other relevant subjects with a minimum of 3 years work experience in the field of local governance, child protection, child rights or advocacy, particularly with marginalized children and communities.

Role Summary

  • Networking and provision of technical support to local government agencies, in particular ward offices.
  • Facilitating the establishment of child forums ensuring the child participation in local governance

Child Protection Educator

(Community-Based Child Protection Project)
No.: 1
Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) Level with a minimum of 2 years work experience in the field of social work and community mobilization.

Role Summary

  • Responsible for implementing community-based child protection activities in 12 Tols, including capacity building of child clubs, women’s groups, tole development organizations, and youth clubs.
  • Mobilize community advocates and child protection committee at the community (Tole) level.

Position: Finance Coordinator

No.: 1
Qualification: Bachelor degree in management and minimum 5 years’ work experience in financial management preferably in supervision level of NGO sector. Have good leadership, communication and reporting skill, good computer knowledge in MS Word, Excel, accounting software.

Role Summary:
Responsible for overall financial management of organisation. This includes, proper accounting, donor and government reporting, budget preparation and control, monitoring and capacity building of project staff, statutory compliance, procurement, cost allocation and control etc.
