Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
The Site In-Charge for Distribution Line Projects is responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of all aspects of the project, ensuring its successful completion within the defined schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, milestones, and timelines.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project execution is aligned with expectations.
• Prepare material plans and compile consumption data.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a project team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Assign roles and responsibilities to team members and provide necessary guidance.

Project Monitoring:

• Regularly supervise the project site to maintain quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions to address deviations from quality requirements.
• Develop and execute plans for timely material reconciliation inspections.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Coordinate with the project team, local authorities, and stakeholders for effective project execution.

Reporting:

• Compile Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Prepare progress reports and documentation as per project requirements.

Safety Compliance:

• Implement and inspect safety protocols for team members and workers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Desired Profile

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• More than 5 years of experience as a Project Manager/Site In-Charge on distribution line projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and associated components.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
