Recruitment: National. Preference to candidates who are from or based in Surkhet, no relocation or living allowances provided.

Job description:
The Local Adaptation to Climate Change (LACC) Project supports land use planning and management, integrated water and forest resources management, environmental conservation, climate change adaptation, and disaster risk reduction in Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces. The Store Manager plays an important role in ensuring efficient maintenance of office facilities by supporting in the management of maintenance work, timely delivery and organization of office supplies and logistical support.
This position offers an opportunity for young professionals to gain experience in store management and procurement within an international development project while contributing to climate resilience efforts in Nepal.

Academic Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) qualification in Management, Humanity, Administration, Science or equivalent. Preference will be given to those with a Bachelor’s degree.
Languages: Fluent speaking and writing skill in Nepali, basic English skills
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum two years of experience in store management and basic administration
- Experience in procurements of consumable and non-consumable goods
- Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel), good IT skills
- Experience with store management applications to manage and organize store inventory and data
- Valid scooter or higher driving license
- Have basic knowledge of vehicle parts and equipment
Key duties
Store Management and Procurement
- Maintain of Office facilities and equipment including all fixed assets and management of both consumable and non-consumable goods
- Obtain authorization of all store releases as per project processes after approval the store requisition & authorized; record the incoming and outgoing items in Goods Receive Note and Goods Issuing Notes coordinating with CAFO
- Keep store inventory records, coding assets, take-care fixed assets and well store management and reporting to CAFO/CTA
- Update Store drop-down data and prepare store inventory reports when needed
- Control quality, make price tally charts on the basis of market competition & keep bills of quantity updated as per procurement system
- Support in office procurements as per the prevailing office rules
- Supervise Office Messenger with generator related operation and maintenance, including checking servicing period
- Ensure timely delivery of the requested items to the cluster offices and event venues.
- Logistic support for trainings/workshops/seminars/meetings and printing
- Maintaining the separate records of Consumable goods and No-Consumable assets
- Review all assets yearly and coordinate the separation of damaged, outdated, out of working assets for further decision with CAFO/CTA
- Support in issuing fuel coupons to the PSU based drivers
- Responsible for entering excel logbooks based on logbooks received from project drivers, fuel fill-up, and servicing
- Responsible for coordinating in repairing and maintenance of Office building and expatriate’s residences and all equipment/furniture in close coordination with CAFO
- Any other tasks assigned by the Management to achieve goal and objectives of Project relevant to his/her competency
