Position Overview:

Shaurya Cement Industries Limited is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Process and Quality to lead the plant’s process optimization and quality assurance functions. This dual-role position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in cement manufacturing, who can ensure both production efficiency and product quality through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Process Management:

• Develop and oversee the plant’s production strategy, plans, and budgets in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
• Lead the implementation of production plans, capacity planning, and material requirement forecasts to ensure daily, monthly, and annual targets are met.
• Supervise and optimize key production operations including kiln linings, raw and cement mill operations, and packaging systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures throughout the production processes.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and mining departments to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Monitor developments in cement production technology and recommend best practices for implementation.
• Generate and analyze regular production performance reports to support strategic decisions.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and performance oversight to the process team.

Quality Assurance & Control:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance and control framework to meet regulatory and customer standards.
• Lead the quality control team in monitoring raw materials, intermediate products, and final output to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain quality-related documentation and ensure robust data management practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and optimize process outputs.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate advanced quality control methods and technologies.
• Ensure all quality practices comply with legal, environmental, and company standards.
• Present detailed reports on quality metrics, findings, and improvements to senior management.
• Foster a culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15–20 years of experience in cement manufacturing with significant roles in both process optimization and quality management.
• Proven leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of cement plant operations, process engineering, and quality control methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, environmental standards, and quality systems (ISO standards preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
