Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager/ Senior Sales Officer for Marlboro Cigarettes/ Zyn Nicotine Pouch will oversee sales operations, develop strategies to increase market share, and ensure the achievement of sales targets within the assigned territory. This role involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, implementing sales and marketing plans, and providing leadership to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Target Achievement: Drive sales within the assigned territory to meet or exceed monthly and annual targets for Marlboro Cigarettes.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales officers, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Sales Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans, promotional activities, and campaigns to maximize brand presence.
  • Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 to 4 years of experience as a Senior Sales Officer/ Sales Officer or similar role in FMCG products.
  • Proven track record in sales, team management, and achieving targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Good understanding of the Kathmandu market and FMCG industry dynamics.
