Human Practice Foundation (HPF) is a Danish NGO that has been working in Nepal since 2017 and Kenya since 2018. HPF aims to improve the quality of education, health, and livelihood of the rural people of Nepal and other parts of the world.

HPF adopts a unique approach to develop children’s potentials and create a better future for them. With our ‘child-empowerment model’ that puts the child at the centre of our intervention, HPF focuses to develop not only the academic skills but also social, emotional, cultural and interpersonal skills so that every child develops its potentials to pursue his/her career to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. With this child model in place, we are now working in Taplejung, Terhathum, Panchthar and Dhankuta districts of east Nepal.

HPP is looking for following position for Project Office and Country office.

Life Skills Coordinator

No. of Position: 1

Location: HPF Project Office, Taplejung or Pancthar district.

Qualification & Experience: At least bachelor’s degree in social science or any other discipline with sound knowledge and experience in the areas of establishing life skills classes in the project schools, training focal teachers and facilitating life/soft skills to the school students. Persons experienced in RUPANTARAN package are highly encouraged to apply.

Job scope: The job holder is responsible to report to our Life Skills Manager and work closely with Education Manager and Education Officers on the ground. As a part of Students Life skills development, HPF has developed different training modules focusing on developing students’ cognitive, emotional, physical, social, relationship, thinking and citizenship skills.

Contract period: One Year with possibility of extension.


HR/Finance Officer

No. of Position: 1

Location: HPF Country Office, Kathmandu.

Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent with 2 years of experience in Admin Finance and HR function of I/NGO’s. The major task includes handling admin finance and HR task of an organization.

Job scope: The job holder is responsible for working with the Country Director for HR work and Finance Director for administration & finance related work.

Contract period: One year with possibility of extensions.
