Business Development Officer- Advertisement Business

Job Description

  • Identify and approach potential clients to offer DishHome’s advertising platforms and media solutions.
  • Conduct market visits and meetings to engage brands, corporate houses and advertising agencies.
  • Explain to clients how specific advertisement formats best suit their business goals.
  • Promote and sell ad space across TVC, Aston ads, L-Shape ads, Linear channel slots, IPTV/DTH properties.
  • Drive revenue through event sponsorships and customized ad solutions.
  • Prepare and present tailored ad proposals and budget plans to prospective clients.
  • Maintain follow-ups via calls, emails, visits, WhatsApp, Messenger, or Zoom.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to new and existing clients.
  • Provide cost estimates for advertising services, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Prepare promotional strategies, sales kits, and contracts to close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with MCR/PCR for accurate ad placement as per Release Orders.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to align with marketing strategies.
  • Educate clients on available advertising features and share past campaign success.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/Yearly advertisement sales and sponsorship targets.
  • Maintain proper documentation, coordination, and communication for each campaign.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 2–3 years of experience in corporate or media sales.
  • Prior experience in the television, digital media industry & advertisement agency is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent writing skills and proficiency in report creation.
  • Familiarity with emerging marketing channels and advertising formats.
  • Strong PR presence and an outgoing personality to build strong client relationships.
  • Proactive and target-driven with ability to multi-task and manage complex projects.
  • Willingness to travel for business development and client engagements.
