Job Summary

• Arrange travels from beginning to end through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
• Sell the company’s packages to clients using emails, social media and phone.
• Prepare and sell innovative inbound and outbound tour packages to meet market demand
• Stay up to date with changes in the travel industry
• Conduct research and constantly source for interesting product packages to meet consumer demands
• Plan flexible tour packages, excursions, safaris and other related services in regards to tours to meet the needs of different clients
• Handle customer inquiries and aim to exceed their expectations
• Assess and suggest tour and travel products and costing that are competitive in the industry
• Identify new business opportunities in a competitive and rapidly changing business environment

Job Qualifications and Experience
• Must have relevant qualifications in this position
• Practical experience in same role within the Nepal is required
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Must be self motivated, confident with an outgoing personality
• Excellent networking and prospecting skills
• Good computer knowledge required
• Must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Outstanding knowledge of travel products and services

Job Description
• Main Contact person between the potential client and the company
• Understand the need of a client and prepare customized travel proposals
• Ensure all necessary steps are being taken from the inquiry, booking, execution to evaluation of the tour
• Handle feedback and complaint professionally
• Act as a liasion between the office & the field staffs (Drivers, Guides & Freelancers)
• Work in complete cooperation with the rest of the office team (reservations, account and general manager)
• Be flexible to work outside office hours if necessary
• Optimize tour handling and other administrative procedures
• Assist in New Product Development
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with local hoteliers, apartment owners, excursion agents and travel companies with the best rates
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the local hotel, lodge, transportation and the area (Trekking/Hiking) in order to answer clients’ questions
• Meeting and briefing to the guest and with the potential clients
• Checking hotel standards and safety procedures
• Keeping basic accounts and records, and writing reports
