JOB OPPORTUNITY

The Soaltee Gate Gourmet is operated in collaboration with the world renowned Inflight Catering Solution provider gate group (gg) under the Gate Gourmet Brand.

Position: Flight Catering Operation Manager/Operation Executive

Education: Graduated in Business Administration, Flight Catering Management, or in related field.
Experience: At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Flight Catering Operation or in similar industry.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Responsible for managing one or more catering operations across multiple venues, while assisting with development and implementation of the catering strategy and concept of operations across all venues.
  • Developing policies and SOPs in the department, in line with the international airline catering norms to ensure the compliance with the company and legislative requirement.
  • Must be well versed with logistics handling equipment inventory and must have good communication skills to be able to maintain excellent client relationship.

Position: Auto Mechanic Specialized in Hydraulic

Education: Degree/diploma in industrial equipment technologies HVAC maintenance or electronics field is required.
Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of experience in Hydraulic Mechanic or in similar industry.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledgeable about hydraulic technician installations, maintains and repairs hydraulic components on equipment.
  • Knowledgeable about diagrams troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
    Additionally,
  • Able to read ad determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance.

Position: Security Supervisor

Education: Graduated in Safety Management, Hotel Management, or in related field.
Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of experience in Hospitality Security or in any Security field related organization.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Responsible for supporting overall security operation for implementing, overseeing and monitoring all security matters.
  • Knowledgeable about security policies and regulation for the protection of guests, employees, properties and classified information and injury, damage, loss, theft or any other Safety Security related issues.

Position: Hygiene Supervisor

Education: Graduated in Hotel Management, Food Hygiene Safety Management, or in related field.
Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of experience in Food Hygiene Safety Management in Airlines Catering or in similar industry.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Regularly inspect each back-of-house and front-of-house food preparation areas to ensure food safety procedure is followed as per the standard.
  • Ensure that regular on-going communication is happening to create awareness of food safety, HACCP system and overall hygiene.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all food safety requirement set by the international food safety standard.

Position: Commis I, II, III

Education: Graduated in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or in related field.
Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of experience in the culinary department in 4 or 5-star hotel, airlines catering or in similar industry.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
  • Follow all company and food safety standards while preparing meals.

Position: Chef De Partie/Demi Chef De Partie

Education: Graduated in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or in related field.
Experience: At least 2 to 4 years of experience in the culinary department in 4 or 5-star hotel, airlines catering or in similar industry.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Prepares and cooks foods of all types, wither on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
  • Supervises the preparation and production of all hot or cold food items for buffet and a la carte menu to ensure that they are in compliance with the prescribed recipes and specifications.
  • Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards.
  • Assists in developing daily and seasonal menu items.
