Sales Operation Manager

A. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing sales processes for sales teams, specialists and other representatives
2. Researching and analyzing data to create sales forecasts
3. Collaborating with other departments and upper management to identify business goals
4. Training sales representatives
5. Identifying customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends
6. Creating and managing automation tools to increase sales process efficiency
7. Implementing and managing CRM tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships
8. Partner with Sales and Marketing department to refine lead qualification process, analyze and report on campaign performance with reporting and dashboards
9. Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes
B. Others:
1. Execute the role as a focal point of contact for other departments on sales & operational matters
2. Supporting the line manager with projects and tasks when required
3. Adhere to Financial policies and procedures and any other relevant provisions of any Act, Standard or Law.
C. Communications:
1. Maintain utmost levels of Professional Communication while performing the role at all times.
2. Maintain proper Line of Communication; internal and inter-departmental communication as the case may-be.
3. Maintain standards of mutually-respectful interaction with all internal team-members, inter-departmental executives & stakeholders viz. Partners, Banks, various authorities etc.
4. Respond to inquiries or concerns in a timely & professional manner.
5. Provide time-lines, calendars, and schedules.
6. Establish proper communication, both electronic and written as needed.
7. Provide information to all the key stakeholders as and when required.
D. Internal Relations:
1. Work closely with executives & staff members of various departments under SAGAR Group to meet the group’s core objectives.
E. External Relations:
1. Network with staff, partners and all stakeholders
2. Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with key supporters, beneficiaries, partner and other organizations of SAGAR Group. This is by no means a definitive list as we anticipate that your external relationships will be extensive and frequent.
F. Others:
1. Out of hours’ work may be required on some occasions.
2. Perform other duties related to the department as instructed by the reporting person.
3. Promote SAGAR Group’s aim and vision.
Responsibilities
1. Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results
2. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
3. Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
4. Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
5. Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
6. Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them
7. Provide daily report of field sales success and communicate VOC data to superiors
8. Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales team to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
9. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly
Must Have
1. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in equivalent position
2. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or equivalent field
3. Strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing sales team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary
4. Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments and upper management
5. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies
6. Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities
Nice to have
1. Own vehicle with valid driving license
2. Residence within 5 kilometers of distance from working location
3. Working experience on ERP software
4. Good command over English language
