Helen Keller International (HKI) is an International non-profit organization (INGO) working in health and nutrition in Nepal since 1989 working to improve the nutritional status of women and young children through evidence-based research and programs. HKI, CARE, FHI 360, NTAG, EAN, ENPHO, VDRC together are implementing USAID funded Suaahara II Program (SP II) in 42 districts. Position: Resource Persons – Micro- Biologist/ Pathologist
Based in Sudur Pachim, Kailali

Summary of Job Purpose:
The Resource Person – Microbiologist/ Pathologist will closely work with the Provincial Directorate. S/he will provide overall technical support in the laboratory, particularly for PCR tests, quarantine, counseling, recording and report preparation.
Educational qualifications and experience:
Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Pathology; skilled in PCR testing; experience and competency in PCR machine use in a laboratory for at least 2 years.
