Minimum Qualification Required:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Equivalent. CFA candidates will be given priority.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Capital Market or Banking Industry in case of Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years in case of Master’s Degree.

Candidates should have:

• Conduct comprehensive company valuations to informed decisions.
• Generate detailed valuation reports and present findings to key members of investment committee.
• Produce insightful investment research reports to support our portfolio management vertical and mutual fund vertical.
• Analyze market trends and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance investment strategies based on research findings.
• Utilize advanced data analysis skills, including proficiency in MS Excel to extract meaningful insights from financial data.
• Build and maintain financial models to aid in investment decision-making.
• have a deep understanding of the financial markets and be able to analyze economic trends, company financials, and industry dynamics to provide valuable insights to the investment team. Generate & communicate investment alerts (major change in fundamental, technical, economical market scenario) and recommendation to head of investment department, CIO, COO & CEO.
• Be able to communicate the findings and recommendations of the research team to clients, often through reports, presentations, and other forms of communication.
• Work closely with other teams in the capital, such as the investment/business development/Corporate advisory/SIF teams, to ensure that the research is being used effectively to generate revenue for the capital. Provide all necessary support to investment & business development department as and when required on any research related matters. Provide product presentations to potential customers. Communicate and brief the current and future trend of market to PMS and research meeting including CIO, COO & CEO.
• Forecast financials of companies by completely understanding the business models & incorporating the past & expected trends to arrive at sustainable future earnings.
• Knowledge of related regulatory and statutory related regulation.
• Preparation of valuations of IPOs, Underwriting, FPOs, auctions etc. as & when requested by investment department.
• Forecast financial risks and returns and provide investment recommendations.
• Perform other roles & responsibilities as required by the department/management and CEO
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Nepali.
• Sound skills in MS applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and well versed with Nepalese as well as international legal provisions and practices.
• Age not exceeding 32 years.
• Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
