ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified and experienced Nepalese Citizens for the following position.
Project Coordinator (Kathmandu based with frequent field travel): One
Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of Australian Government DFAT funded agriculture and farm-based enterprise focused livelihood project and the contribution in Livelihood portfolio of ADRA Nepal; he/she required to coordinate with other agencies at local government, district, provincial or country level for necessary documentation: required permission/approvals, implementation of project activities and synergistic outputs; responsibilities also include supervision and management of implementing partners NGO and staffs. He/she has to manage finances, develop robust monitoring and evaluation system, ensure sustainability through developing sustainability plan and appropriate exit strategy, and ensure ADRA and donor compliance while implementing the project; he/she will be engaged in exploring opportunities in new projects, conducting need assessment, developing concept notes, proposals and provide technical and operational support to the livelihood projects.
Qualification and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in Agriculture and Animal Science or related field, minimum 5 years of experience in managing rural development projects in middle management level, preferably with INGOs or reputed NGOs. Experience in handling of agriculture and livestock-based livelihood projects will be added value; willing to work within a team and independently; advance computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and presentations; Good listener and communicator.
