Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC), established in 1989 with the aim of protecting and promoting human rights and social justice in Nepal, requires application for the following position:
Duty Station: INSEC Karnali Province Office Surkhet with frequent travel to program implementing districts.
Nature of Service: Initial contract for one year with possibility of extension.
Reports To: Executive Director and Human Rights Documentation and Advocacy Program.
Supervisory Responsibility: Human Rights Officers, Account Officer, and activity implementers
Main Purpose: The main purpose of this position is to ensure the effective implementation of the overall activities of human rights defenders related project at federal and provincial level. Furthermore, s/he should demonstrate that the anticipated project results are achieved by managing the allocated resource and mobilization/coordination of the project team and targeted stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will report directly to INSEC’s human rights documentation and advocacy program, senior management and Executive Director at Central Office. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that the project is implemented according to the agreed work plan, timeframe, and budget to achieve the objectives outlined in the project document.
Qualification and experience for Project Coordinator: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Social Science, Law, Political Science, Human Rights with minimum three years’ experience in project management.
