PATH seeks to recruit a Program Manager (MNCH) for initiative on improving MNCH outcomes in Nepal. This project will implement initiatives to improve access to quality MNCH services, capacity of provinces, accountability, and public private partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the project to achieve the project objectives and deliverables
  • Provide high-quality MNCH related technical and strategic inputs for the project
  • Managerial support and monitoring throughout project implementation
  • Coordinate with project partners government and donor for project coordination and reporting
  • Represent the project to the donors, Nepal government officials, partners, civil societies, and private sector stakeholders
  • Travel to project geographies for monitoring and provide technical inputs
  • Establish and maintain strong working partnerships with all project partners and stakeholders
  • Development of annual work plans, progress reports, and other required project management documentation

Required Experience

  • 6-10 years of experience in public health of managing state and/or national level projects with experience of Nepal government engagement
  • Proven record of developing and maintaining strong and effective partnerships
  • Management skills, strategic vision, ability to create synergies, interpersonal skills to fulfill the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the project
  • Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Professional experience working with international donor organizations such as BMGF, USAID etc., civil society, and government organizations
  • Knowledge and experience of MNCH is essential
  • Knowledge of English and Nepali language is essential

Must have legal authorization to work in Nepal and is required to have Nepal Citizenship.
