Panchtara Yuwa Samrakshak Manch (PTYSM) Jajarkot is an NGO dedicated to upholding the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Disaster, empowerment, equality and social justice and agriculture, education, health, nutrition, and livestock services are working in the area of widespread municipals of the district, women, children, Dalit, Janajati and vulnerable communities. It works with a vision of a just and prosperous society with people having access to and ownership over resources and communities.

PTYSM is going to implement the SAHAYATRA II and ABSAR Projects in partnership with Save the Children International to improve student’s basic education, to improve implementation of UNCRC by government and Civil Society, to create safe and protective environment for children in school, health facilities and other community settings in Chhedagad municipality of Jajarkot District. Thus, PTYSM invites applications from suitable Nepali candidates for the following full-time positions:

Position: Program Manager – 1 (based in Chhedagad Municipality)

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible to manage/lead the project quality, output and outcomes and staff. Support the Project coordinators in planning, implementing, monitoring, documentation and reporting of projects in close coordination with funding partners and sector stakeholders, ensuring quality results and reporting. He/she must play focal role in coordination with Local Government, civil society and other stakeholders, policy advocacy and support to local government.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Master’s Degree in education/Management or Social Science with at least 5 years of working experience in I/NGO or Development Sector. Should have skill of Leadership, Team Management by assigning work, developing work procedures consistent with policies, establishing work schedules, and monitoring work performed by subordinates in order to meet agreed-upon goals, objectives and target dates, reporting, coordination and communication.

Position: Documentation and Reporting Officer- 1 (based in Chhedagad Municipality)

Key Responsibility: Responsible to keep update of data recording, database management (OPMIS), process documentation, case story collection and developing reporting formats, data collection tools and techniques. He/she must play a lead role to prepare semi-annual and annual reports along with ad-hoc reports at times necessary and able to guide/coach field staff on documentation and reporting processes. The position will provide information, reporting and media related support to the Sahayatra project in coordination with the media and communication department in field office. Based in the field office, the position’s role is to undertake field visits, gather and put together information of programs for internal and external purposes and program documentation. S/he also needs to ensure and analyze the rapid assessment information/ such as HMIS, CEMIS data to find out the gap of service status of in the project implemented at districts.

Preferred Qualification and Experience: At least Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, Management or Social Science with minimum 2 years working experience in I/NGO in similar position. Good computer skills, data management and log frame reporting skills are must
