CIUD announces vacancies for some posts for the Resilient Children in Nepal project, the WASH related project at the community schools of Chaurideurali Rural Municipality in Kavre district. The project, supported by WaterAid Nepal, is focused on achieving two key project outputs, built in capacity of the school children, teachers, management committees in disaster preparedness to contribute to WASH resilience in schools and home communities, even in the face of future disasters and built capacity of the Rural Municipality in disaster preparedness to ensure WASH resilience in schools, even in the face of future disasters.

Job Specification

• Bachelors level in any technical discipline, social science, humanity or any development faculty
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a related field


• He/she should have Comprehensive knowledge on WASH related disaster risk reduction and management including national level WASH in Schools guidelines, health and hygiene
• He/she should have Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• He/she should have Effective Report writing skills

Working Station: Chaurideurali Rural Municipality

Kavre Project Duration: Aug 2019 to June 2021

Job Description

• Overall management of the project including development of the training manuals, human resources plan and mobilization, coordination with the schools and local stakeholders including the local authorities
• Conduct the training and reporting Qualification
• Bachelors level in any technical discipline, social science, humanity or any development faculty
