INF Nepal, oversees three hospitals namely, Green Pastures Hospital (GPH)-Pokhara, Shining Hospital-Banke and Shining HospitalSurkhet. GPH provides specialist ear care, treatment and rehabilitation for people living with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities and extends to reconstructive surgery, and palliative care. INF Green Pastures Hospital is looking for qualified and well-motivated Nepali citizens for the following posts:

Position: Hospital Pharmacist

Number of Vacancies: 1

Work Location: GPH, Pokhara

Job Summary : To ensure the effective and safe delivery of pharmaceuticals to patients. S/he should manage the pharmacy department in coordination with Medical Superintendent while adhering to all the prevailing policies of the GPH. S/he is responsible for maintaining and keeping an up to date record of the stock of medicines, and surgical sundries, stationary and other supplies for the smooth running of the Pharmacy.

Required Qualification, Experience & Skills: :
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum one years’ experience working as a Pharmacist
• Current license to practice pharmacy
• Strong understanding of the major pharmaceutical computer software platforms
• Strong Customer-Service Skills with good listening skill
• Able to work in a team and having good understanding of the values which are important to INF Nepal

Work Location: GPH, Pokhara

Position: Staff Nurse

Job Summary: To provide holistic nursing care to the patients of Green Pastures Hospital including the Ear Centre, which has excellent outpatient, ward and operating theatre facilities.

Required Qualification, Experience & Skills: :

• Qualified staff nurse having registration with Nursing Council
• Good interpersonal skills, patience, empathy and ability to motivate and encourage people
• Having passion to provide ear care service is preferred.

Work Location: GPH, Pokhara

Position: Ear Care Practitioners

Number of Vacancies: 5

Job Summary: In Field: Lead regular teams, screening for ear disease and hearing loss in the community, including simple diagnosis, health education, primary treatment, advice and referral back to ear center. Initial field visits will be short duration (1-3 days) in local area. Some longer visits may be planned outside local province. Development of satellite clinics will be encouraged. Develop a network of services with other primary health care organizations and health volunteers, to create and run primary ear health screening programmes. Participate actively in audit and research. At GPH Ear Centre: Provide triage of ear out-patients care, offer basic diagnostic ear services and arrange referral for audiology and other investigations and therapies prior to doctor review. Offer simple ear therapies, ear syringing, dressings, and ear micro-suction. Support medical staff in OPD and teach patients basic ear care. Training: In-house and on-the-job training will be provided for suitable candidates with limited experience of ear conditions.

Required Qualification, Experience & Skills: :

  • Minimum HA level qualification with two years of relevant experience after qualification.
  • Experience with people with ear conditions or hearing loss or in ENT clinics is preferred.
  • Good communication and facilitation skills
