We are looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following positions:

Livestock Specialist (Project Lead- L4L project) [One] based in Jaleshwor, Mahottari

Key Responsibilities: As the Livestock Specialist (project lead- L4L project), you will be responsible for the overall management of the project in compliance with donor’s terms & guidelines and World Vision’s finance and accounting policies along with Partner NGO. S/he will be responsible for the delivery of commitments and reporting as per the compliances and ensures technical oversight, guide partner NGO and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes. S/he will be closely working with the provincial and, local government in terms of getting approvals, aligning the projects into the government’s plan and strategies, and advocating for the sustainability of the project. S/he will compile reports from NGOs and will ensure the project reports are prepared as per the requirements along with other information required by World Vision. This position requires frequent field visit (80% of the time) in World Vision International Nepal’s working areas in Mahottari.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: University degree (preferred Masters) in Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science or relevant discipline. At least 5 years working experience national and/or international NGOs as a project lead or equivalent for livestock-based livelihood/economic development project in Mahottari or similar districts in Nepal. Work experience in world vision in the relevant area is preferred.


Project Manager- Astellas [One] based in East Field Office, Bardibas

Key Responsibilities: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall project management including project implementation, stakeholder engagement, people management, monitoring, documentation, and learning capturing. This position will ensure quality documentation and programming compliance and maintain a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders in regard to data and information management. This position will also closely review documents to ensure program quality and compliance throughout project implementation, and to deliver high-quality reporting and communications to Support Offices and key stakeholders. The role requires data analysis as well as organizational, time management, and relationship management skills, coupled with dynamic coordination capabilities to drive results across various stakeholders. This position requires 80% travel in World Vision International Nepal’s working areas in Rautahat, Mahottari and Sarlahi districts in province 2.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: Master’s degree in Public Health or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Work experience in emergency context particularly, COVID-19 context, is highly desirable. At least 2 years in project management. Experience in development project management, especially in the roles of technical support to local partners. Experience working in health system strengthening, particularly with Province Government and Local Government.


Procurement Officer [One] based in Jaleshwor, Mahottari

Key Responsibilities: As the Procurement Officer, you will be responsible to support partner organization for providing procurement services in accordance with WVI Procurement policies and procedures. Assist in the development of a high standard of accountability and transparency in the procurement of goods and services. Facilitate the acquisition of response requirements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement or similar degree, or equivalent professional qualification. At least 2 years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
