Job Description

• Meet with systems owners, clients and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Overseeing implementation, coordinating tests and observing initiation of the system to validate performance
• Perform & appropriately scale BSA-related tasks & activities for work efforts of various sizes (from small maintenance items and defects to large projects).
• Effectively use various elicitation techniques (JAD sessions, interviews, surveys, shadowing, etc.) to ensure that the true business need and intent is understood and well documented. (SRS, business requirements, business processes, flows, etc.)
• Provide business analysis support for project requests making sure to examine build vs. buy options that may be available and align with business strategic goals including cost/benefit analysis for new efforts.
• Pursue standardization and clarity around how we analyze requirements, and support improvements in our software infrastructure to be more robust and reliable.
• Deliver error-free work and crystal clear insights to enable rapid response efforts and efficient decision-making.
• Develop and implement new analytics and reporting strategies; lead modeling/analytics.
• Drive improvements in operational risk oversight, challenge, and reporting by connecting drivers of future trends to historical behavior, creating operational risk frameworks and models, and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.
• Product thorough User Stories with sufficient Acceptance Criteria Development and Specification necessary to support the product owner, SME, development and quality assurance stakeholders
• Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. This includes an eagerness to pick up new skills, and to balance scrappy ingenuity with disciplined structure and automation.

Required Skills

• Experience as a business system analysis or comparable
• Full SDLC experience including supporting QA and UAT needs
• Experience with Business Systems Analysis software applications tools, and techniques
• Experience as a BSA on agile, waterfall and hybrid agile-waterfall methodologies
• Writes specific, measurable, and testable user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
• Develops clear and effective business and system documentation (process flows, data mapping, SRS, business requirements, etc.)
• Effectively facilitate meetings and requirements gathering sessions (JAD sessions, interviews, surveys, shadowing, etc.)
• Excellent problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
• Basic SQL Skills (Select only, ability to write complex joins)
• Experience gathering integration requirements for data: identifying and assessing data sources, creating source/target mappings, interface req.
• Problem-solving and triage support for urgent production break fix resolution
• Experience developing or writing business cases and supporting or executing market research
• Experience facilitating system design and technical requirements sessions
• Experience facilitating meetings with complex stakeholder dynamics
• Experience with and proven knowledge of Application concepts
