Position Overview:

The Assistant Manager HR is responsible for overseeing and managing employee attendance, absenteeism, and leave records, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role plays a vital part in improving workforce efficiency, enforcing attendance policies, and supporting payroll accuracy. Additionally, the position involves coordinating with departmental heads to implement HR strategies and enhance employee engagement.

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure accurate maintenance of employee attendance records.
  • Oversee the biometric attendance tracking system and ensure timely updates.
  • Coordinate with plant supervisors to manage employee work shifts efficiently.
  • Monitor and analyze absenteeism trends and provide reports to management for necessary action.
  • Ensure accurate reconciliation of attendance data for payroll processing.
  • Implement and enforce attendance policies in alignment with company SOPs.
  • Address employee concerns regarding attendance, leave policies, and work schedules.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies to enhance workforce productivity.
  • Support the Factory HR Head in HR-related activities, including compliance and policy implementation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Factory HR Head.

Experience:

Minimum 4 years of experience in the HR field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Education:

At least a bachelor’s degree in management, human resources, or a related field. A master’s degree in HR or business administration is preferred.
